I love Michigan! My husband and I took a trip there to stay at Big Bay Point lighthouse for 5 nights and it was awesome!

It was such fun pretending to be a lighthouse keeper!

That job would have been fun in this one but imagine if on one way out in the dangerous water! That would have been scary!

I have been to Florida a few times and California but my fave has to be Michigan. So much forest scenery along with lake views and beach time.

There were also some fun shops to purchase souvenirs from, one of them had a lot of bigfoot items! So funny!🤣

I even got to meet my own bigfoot buddy during a stroll down the street.!🤪

Overall….it was one of the best getaways I have had in a bit of time, I want to go back to that wondrous place really soon! (Hoping and Praying) ❤️

The time we had there went by way too fast like the water rushing down a waterfall….😥

Also we had to get some delicious ice cream from an ice cream parlor! What kind of fun trip would it be without the yumminess! 🍦

Was a very sad day when it was time for us to head back home to reality……😩

I loved going to Lake Mills when my daughter lived there for awhile. They have the cutest little shops and a nice park in their downtown area.

My favorite shops were the Vintage Flip which is in old church and the Opera Hall antique shop that has 3 floors of finds!

I enjoy going to their summer and fall pop up markets in the park. So many vendors with their items for sale, some of them unique and one of a kind.

It is a good place to find some treasures!

I found this wood VW bus that has to be put together and it looks neato!

The only problem is that I do not like any type of puzzle!

I find them irritating and frustrating in so many ways🤣

But I am going to do my best to do this one because I hope to display the finished piece!

Well …it is done!

Put this together …. said no glue or tools needed….hmmmm….glue yes it is needed!
My clumsy fingers broke more than one piece.🤣🤣🤣

I have decided to just be me and not worry so much about what others think!

I like finding items that are unique and make me smile, such as the hat shown above.

I enjoy snapchat filters and always play with the funny ones either alone, with someone or with my cats.

I took a day to just stroll around Waukesha again and wander into the shops.

I also enjoyed lunch at the Steaming cup which is a fave for me.

I enjoyed the breeze that surrounded me as I walked viewing the artwork around me and I also had to get an ice cream treat before heading home!
