Have you ever been camping?
Yes unfortunately, my daughter and I went to some campsite thinking we were prepared with our tent, sleeping bags, food, toilet paper (just in case), water and firewood.
Sounds like we were ready staying in the middle of the forest for a night or two, doesn’t it?
Uh-uh we were so not! We didn’t realize how cold it would get at night and all we had were tshirts, shorts and each a pair of jeans.
The ground was so rough and hard and just a sleeping bag does not cut it- be warned!
Also- the noises!!!! The animals were loud at night and we had the rational fear of a bear arriving at iur campsite and devour us in our sleep. Forgot about the bugs- oh my!
We stayed just the one night and never went back!
If I ever do that again – I will gladly be a glamper!

When I was a kid, my parents often took me and my sisters camping. The only things I liked about camping were the ocean waves crashing, the rolling mist on the grass early in the morning, and the scent of morning dew.
