Road trip!

Life takes a lot of twists and turns, but just like with a road trip, it is the process of getting to the destination that I will remember the most clearly in the end.

I love going on road trips! I find them more exhilarating than flying anywhere! I feel that we can see different locations as we drive through them to get to our destination.

Along the way we can discover new restaurants, different views, museums, shops and history of each area.

It is a much more fulfilling experience and a great way to learn about locations near and far. Maybe you might have a feathered friend fly next to you like I did!🤪

I even took some time during one to stop at a park and sketch a lighthouse. Life is like a carousel- the minutes, hours and days can feel like going around in a circle!

Take the moment to enjoy each sunrise and sunset of each day🌷

I have gone on long and short road trips alone and with my husband and daughter and I loved them all!🩷

Introducing me……

I wrote a few blogs already and one each about my husband, daughter and my mom.

I hope that you don’t mind them because I wanted to share who I am. And whom I share this life with.

I am going to try to keep my blogs about places I have been or going to go to but I want to also show other parts of me as well.

My main goal in this life is to enjoy each little thing, moment or place. I want to live life to the fullest!

I may not be able to afford to travel around the world but I can find joy in small things and big things!

The beauty can be located all around you- you just have to keep your eyes and your mind open!

Thank you!🩷

My husband and I❤️

I met my husband 30 years ago (wow! I feel old!)

We married after 5 years and had our daughter a year later.

During those years we have grown together and did our best to raise our amazing daughter and we succeeded!

We have had ups and downs like any relationship but our love has triumphed over any of the bad!

We always try to throw in some fun things to do together and be silly! Recently we have been trying to get some road trips in when we can to explore fun places!

We are still happy and have many more years with each other❤️

Mom and Daughter🌷🩷

I want to talk about my wonderful daughter! She is the love of my life🩷

I was able to stay home with her for the first 5 years so we didn’t have to worry about strangers taking care of her in daycare or the cost of it as well,

I am one of the lucky ones who got to spend quality and quantity of my days with her and helped her grow into the beautiful young woman she is today.

My husband worked hard and still does to take care of his family.

She played violin in her school orchestra and so talented! She went to a good college and got a great job after graduating. I couldn’t be more proud of her then and now!

We still get to spend time together even with our busy lives and I treasure each moment!❤️

Spending time with Mom🌷

I love being able to spend time with my Mom when I can. We all have busy lives but I talk to her every day and get together when we are able to.

We went to help with her fence ( myself and my Mom supervised my husband🤪) then went to dinner and decided on going to the mall.

We stayed there enjoying her company all day and it was the best day! 🩷

She is my best friend and the most perfect Mom a girl could ever ask for! I got the lucky draw!

Take time to be with your Mom, we are all getting older and time flies by so quickly! You just don’t know how much time any of us have on this earth! Live it to the fullest!

Be silly! Be happy! Treasure each moment!

When is the last time you took a risk? How did it work out?

Another risk?

Easy! Driving!

I learned to drive later in life due to the fear of it, my brother drove before me as a teen and got into a couple accidents and I was in car. Luckily not serious ones!

So I still have fear but learned and have myself been in a couple accidents which someone else caused by driving dumb.

Unfortunately where we live the only option to get anywhere is to drive😭

Downtown Oconomowoc

This morning is so beautiful! The sun is shining bright. The breeze is refreshing.

I just had to go downtown to the lake and boardwalk to partake in the fresh crispy air.

I stopped at the fresh baked cafe to pick up some yummy pastries also while I was in the area.

I then walked down to the walkway and sat at one of their chairs they have in different colors- blue, teal, orange, red, green and yellow- I had to sit in my fave color of teal😊

I took an hour to hit the off switch on my thoughts and took in the beauty around me.

Make sure to partake in some you time and turn off your thought switch!

Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.

Hmmm, a risk eh?

I took a risk to fly for the first time on my very first trip to Florida even though I was terrified out of my mind!

I truly hate heights and the thought of going into a metal tube that goes way up in the air with no safety net was outrageous!

(I still hate flying by the way!)

Wow! Petting a 5 month old tiger named Noah🐅

Have you ever questioned something you were about to do?

Making the decision to do so since you knew that it was going to be a once in a lifetime experience!

Is it possible to be attacked even in play while you do this crazy but exciting thing? Yes!

Is it worth the nervous and anxious feeling in your belly? Heck yea!

The most amazing thing was about to take place and you were able to touch something that other people never get the same chance.

He was much bigger than I thought he was going to be but at least the handler was right there with us. I watched in anticipation as he walked toward us as we waited for him to get closer.

Noah was brought right to us as we were told not to touch anywhere near his head or face, which trust me….I would not do since I definitely did not want to lose any fingers!

We were able to pet his belly, and his body as the photographer took pictures of our time with Noah. During the time we had with him he had fallen into my lap and he was heavy! I must have been allergic to his fur also because my legs broke out in hives! Hehe!!

We were also able to feed him from a bottle! So adorable!

Tigers’ fur is rough yet soft if that makes sense. It was one of the best and most exciting hour of my life!

Would I do it again if I was able? Honestly, no.

Afterwards came the guilt that a majestic animal was being used to entertain the human race and I had taken a part in it. The tiger was well taken care of and seemed happy but how do we know? I was happy that not too long later that the location was closed down by Peta and the animals placed in other places where they don’t allow human interaction.

I loved that I got to touch and pet such an amazing creature but also saddened by the thought of him being seperated and used for the everlasting worst thing ever- money! The root of all evil!
