A troubled security guard begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the late shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2!
One year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Former security guard Mike has kept the truth from his 11-year-old sister, Abby, concerning the fate of her animatronic friends. When Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, she sets into motion a terrifying series of events that reveal dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s.
Enjoy these trailers of both movies! I enjoyed them and they have become my faves!
Buddy (Will Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa’s elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn’t fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results.
The hilarity in this movie is just spot on!

As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo), and children, as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Even worse, Clark’s employers renege on the holiday bonus he needs.
I found this movie to be so hilarious and humorous and watch it every year! One of the best Christmas movies in my opinion.
The part in the beginning where the family was going to go cut down their Christmas tree and how far they trekked to get to the one he wanted! Poor Audrey was so frozen!! That so would have been me!! I really hate the cold!! 🥶🥶
I felt so bad for Clark when he worked so hard on the lights for his house and getting everyone to come out and see the beauty only for them not to light up! The anger and kicking the santa decor was hilarious! How funny it was that when they turned on the light in the garage which would then light up the house only for it to shut off again when they turned it off! The frustration he showed is so real!!
I loved how his wife was the one to figure it out evwntually and the lights were so bright! The neighbors were blinded!! 🤣
The excitement on Clark’s face when he plugged it together and the lights shone and even knocked out the power around the area!
Also the part where the Aunt brought her cat wrapped in a box and having the treats mixed in her jello dessert!🤣
I also felt a tug when that poor turkey exploded! Reminds me of the first Thanksgiving we hosted and never made a tirkey before and ended up not eating until 8pm due to us continually opening the oven to check it!!
The scene where his idiot friend Eddie emptied his RV’s crapper into the sewer! Omg! I could just imaginr the horrible stink!
I found it sad when the poor cat chewed on the light cord to the Christmas tree and Clark plugged it in and electrocuted the poor kitty under the chair!
Then the scene where the Uncle lit a cigar and their tree burned completely!
The part where Cllark cuts down a tree breaking the neighbors window…..oooops!!
The humor just continued to flow in this film! So much laughter commenced during it let me tell you!! 🤣🎄 those poor neighbors!!
And the neighbor coming over to confront him and the squirrel and dog! Too darn funny!!
Picture says it all!
“And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he’s gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse!”
My favorite line!!!
Following a series of holiday disasters and the news that his Christmas bonus has been cut, Clark Griswold delivers a rant to his gathered family. In the speech, he declares that nobody is leaving and they are all in it together for a “full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency”. He asserts they will have the “hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fucking Kaye” and that Santa will find the “jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse” when he arrives.
The humur is unbeat in any movie in my opinion!
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, what are you waiting for??????
A young boy who has grown sceptical of Santa Claus is shocked to see a train stop outside his window on Christmas Eve, destined for the North Pole. When he accepts an invitation from the conductor to climb on board, he embarks on a white-knuckle ride to Santa’s headquarters, where he makes fast friends and learns an invaluable lesson about the true spirit of Christmas.
I love this movie and how it shows what itea s to be a friend to others even if it is to cause mischief!
And to have lovely hot chocolate during an amazing and hectic train ride to the North Pole!
Whoa!!
What would it be like to be given a golden ticket for the ride of your life?
Would so be me!!
And to end up at the North Pole to be given the first gift of Christmas by the jolly man himself!
Oh the joy of a child! Makes me wish that I was young once again!
I watch this every year and I love it! I try to not let this hard and cruel world break my spirit!
Stay young at heart and cherish your own happiness!
The 2025 CPKC Holiday Train will tour Canada and the U.S. Nov. 19 through Dec. 21, raising money, food and awareness to support food banks across our network. Professional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train’s stage. CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation.
Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected approximately 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.
Do you wish you could just jump onto this train and see if it takes you to the North Pole? Maybe see flying reindeer?
Maybe elves making toys for all the good girls and boys?
Or even Mrs. Clause making cookies?
Oh my! What about the jolly Santa himself?!
How exciting that would be! To believe as we used to when we were young ones ourselves….
Kids believing in Santa is a normal part of childhood that helps them understand fantasy and imagination. Belief typically begins to fade around age eight, though there is wide variation, with many children stopping gradually as they accumulate evidence or question the logistics. A child’s belief in Santa is often tied to childhood innocence and magic, and parents can navigate this transition in different ways, such as by gradually bringing them into the “secret” or by making them part of the Christmas magic for younger siblings.
Why kids believe in Santa
A normal part of development: It is common and healthy for children to believe in magical figures like Santa, as it is a part of their social and cognitive maturation.
Imagination and reality: Children are often not able to distinguish fantasy from reality completely until later in childhood, so believing in Santa is part of that learning process.
Gradual process: Disbelief often creeps in gradually as kids get older. They may start to question things and accumulate a number of “clues” that lead to skepticism.
When belief starts to fade
Age eight is the average: The average age that children start to become skeptical is around eight years old.
Wide variation: The age when belief fades varies greatly, with some children becoming skeptical as early as four or five and others holding on to the belief until they are 12 or 13.
How to navigate this transition
Respond to their questions: You can respond to their questions by gently prompting them to think through what they believe, or by using generic phrases like, “People say that Santa does this”.
Shift into a new role: Once they start to understand, you can turn them into an “ally” by making them part of the magic, giving them responsibilities like helping with younger siblings’ Santa gifts.
Highlight the meaning of Christmas: The transition is a good time to focus on the true meaning of the holiday season, such as being happy, sharing joy, and giving to others.
A nutcracker symbolizes power, strength, and protection, while also representing good luck and authority. In German tradition, nutcracker dolls were seen as guardians that ward off evil spirits and danger. From a different perspective, the character in the ballet The Nutcracker can symbolize the triumph of good, a journey of self-acceptance, and the magic of Christmas.
Traditional and folklore symbolism
Protection: Nutcrackers are seen as guardians that protect the home and family from evil spirits and bad luck.
Power and authority: Early nutcrackers often depicted kings, soldiers, and other figures of authority, representing strength and power.
Good luck: In German folklore, giving a nutcracker was believed to bring good luck to the family.
Symbolism in the ballet
Triumph of good: In the ballet adaptation of the story, the Nutcracker represents good triumphing over evil in the battle against the Mouse King.
Magic and wonder: The character’s transformation from a wooden toy to a prince embodies themes of magic and childhood wonder.
Acceptance and goodwill: The story can be interpreted as a representation of acceptance and goodwill, as the nutcracker (a cursed prince) is welcome by Clara and his true form is revealed
These are only few of my collection! Just got the 4 foot tall one today and I love him!
Nutcrackers are considered to be guardians so I hope that you have at least one in your life to protect you and your family and home!
Christmas markets are festive street markets with European origins, held during the Advent season, that feature food, drinks, crafts, and gifts. Popular examples include the traditional German-style Christkindlmarkets, like the one in Chicago, as well as markets in cities across Europe, such as the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt in Germany. Many locations host them, from large cities to small towns, with various events running through December.
What to expect at a Christmas market
Food and drink: Look for traditional treats like roasted nuts, bratwurst, and potato pancakes, along with seasonal drinks such as mulled wine (gluhwein)
Shopping: Browse stalls selling a variety of artisanal goods, handcrafted gifts, and unique items from local and international vendors.
Entertainment: Many markets offer festive entertainment, including live music, and opportunities to meet Santa.
Decorations: Markets are decorated with lights and festive greenery to create a celebratory atmosphere.
Examples of Christmas markets
Christkindlmarket Chicago (USA): A well-known German-inspired market with multiple locations in the Chicago area.
Old World Christmas Market (Elkhart Lake, WI): A popular Wisconsin market with a historic and traditional feel.
Frankenmuth Christkindlmarkt (Frankenmuth, MI): Located in a town known for its German heritage and called “Christmas Town, USA”.
How to find a local market
Check local event listings or tourism websites for your area or nearby towns.
Search online for specific types of markets, such as “German Christmas Market” or “Christkindlmarket,” to find regional events.
Look for local markets that have adapted the German “Christkindlmarket” name.
I love to shop at the holiday markets because you can find unique handcrafted items not found in big box stores! They show how much talent these artists have and to bring the beautiful item home makes me happy.
I even purchased Christmas village pieces to create my own market.
I enjoy travelling to these markets around Christmas the most but I even go to ones that are available in the summer and fall.
I had to buy this cutie!Funny!
These 2 tumblers made me smile!
I hope that you find the time to travel to some holiday markets and bring home unique pieces!
It has been awhile since I wrote here so I want to share some of my Halloween shenanigans. 🎃
We went to Schuster’s farm for their pumpkin patch and corn maze. We also played blind volleyball- where they had a wooden block so you couldn’t see each other which was hilarious!
We took a ride to get to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins.
We did some silly photos with props!
Took a walk through the corn maze and somehow ended up back at the beginning!🤣
I met a spooky person and took a selfie!
Of course I had to enjoy apple cider slushie with apple cider donuts! Come on!! Get in the spirit!
Then I happened to meet Jack and we took a picture together! He was very much a Jack’o’lantern with his big grin!
Hope you find the time to find a pumpkin patch and enjoy the festivities!
I love Halloween and try to find fun thongs to do during the month of October including haunted houses!
Also to see what decorations others put outside of their homes!
Or even all the Halloween goodies you can find in windows and in shops!
My Halloween tree!
So go out for yourself and explore all the spookiness all around you! I did and still will through this month!🎃👻💀
Tigers are the world’s largest wild cats, with muscular bodies, large heads and paws, and long tails. Their orange fur is marked with black stripes that are usually vertical. Native to Asia, they range from Russia to Sumatra and mainland Southeast Asia. Tigers are powerful hunters with sharp teeth and strong jaws. They stalk large mammals like deer, buffalo, and antelope, then pounce and kill with a bite to the neck or head. Tigers are endangered across their range.
