Enchanting dolphin experience🐬

We took a flying tube to Florida to stay a week with family and partake in one of my dream come true moments!

We purchased tickets to discovery cove where we could have an encounter and learning session with a dolphin. We were put into groups and given either A, B, or C and then asked to join in the same letter for our given time.

Luckily we were in group A and were led to our dolphin trainer where she was waiting in the lagoon for us.

She introduced herself and then our dolphin Khailani ( love that name) and she was such a beauty!

The trainer took time to explain each part of the dolphin as she had Khailani swim in front of us and allowed touching her softly. Also showed us her personality and fun noises that she could make.

Then we each had a turn taking a photo with Khailani next to her and giving her a kiss on her rostrum.

The last and most fun thing with her was when I swam out to a deeper area and Khailani came out to me and I was informed to place my hand on her dorsal fin and the other on her pectoral fin. She then taxi swam me back to the shallow end of the lagoon where I then was able to tip her with fish!🥰

I love dolphins so much and to be able to swim with one was more amazing than words could possibly express.

Lunch was also provided and it was delicious but I was also ravenous by that time being in the sun all day🤪. We were able to sit outside at a table with an umbrella luckily!

The rest of the day we enjoyed lounging in the lazy river as well as snorkeling which was a blast! We were able to see such beautiful coral formations and didferent types of fish including sharks!

There was also an aviary with all types of birds and we were given a bowl of food to feed them if we wanted and we did of course! Who wouldn’t?

It was worth the cost of this adventure and was such an amazing and relaxing day that I have ever experienced!
